One of the most effective health supplements with no toxicity and side effects.

Yun-zhi is a clinically proven herbal supplement that contains standardized, purified polysaccharopeptide (PSP) isolated from cultivated submerged mycelia of patented Cov-1 TM strain of the Basidiomycetes mushroom, Trametes Versicolor a.k.a. the "yun-zhi" mushroom.

Yun-zhi, generally called "zhi" in ancient times, refers to a cloud-like mushroom with health-promoting qualities. The effects of "zhi" have been known for thousands of years and are documented in Chinese medical texts throughout history. The earliest complete Chinese pharmacopoeia reference, Shennong Bencaojing (Classic of Herbal Medicine), published 2000 years ago regarded "zhi" as a godly medicine. In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.), Li Shi-Zhen's Bencao Gangmu (Compendium of Materia Medica) described the zhi's effects as invigorating vital energy, and favoring longevity and rejuvenation after prolonged consumption.

The Yun-zhi mushroom was virtually unknown in the Western world until recent studies revealed that it has the property of reducing the side effects of chemo- and radio-therapies.

Results of double-blind random clinical trials show that individuals taking Essence of Mushroom (Yun-zhi) for two months while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments experience significant improvement in symptoms of fatigue, poor appetite, pain, nausea, vomiting and sweating. Essence of Mushroom (Yun-zhi) also helps stabilize the white blood cell count. The overall treatment results show a total effective rate of between 83% and 86%.
